Karsai Nei Tsang
1–3 sessions · return when needed
Focused work on the lower abdomen and pelvic region, an area that tends to hold deeply and respond well to direct attention. Like CNT, it works fast and specifically. A small number of sessions can address what has been held for a long time.
Sought in relation to pelvic tension, menstrual irregularities, or a sense of heaviness and congestion in the lower body.
“Sexual energy is the creative force of the universe. When it flows freely, vitality follows.”
— Mantak Chia
Origins
Karsai Nei Tsang originates within the Chi Nei Tsang system: a form of deep abdominal bodywork developed within the Daoist tradition.
It is a specialized application that focuses on the lower abdomen, pelvic tissues, and the areas surrounding the reproductive organs, developed to address stagnation and holding in regions closely linked to circulation, vitality, and reproduction.
The practice has traditionally been transmitted through direct, hands-on teaching.
Karsai Nei Tsang is approached as a therapeutic and functional practice, and is distinct from sexual or erotic forms of touch.
What this work may support
Karsai Nei Tsang may support improved space, mobility, and structural support in the pelvic region, along with improved circulation and a clearer functional relationship with the reproductive organs, contributing to more balanced functional organization.
This work may be sought in situations involving low libido, irregular or painful menstrual cycles, ovarian cysts, and menopausal symptoms, as well as when pelvic tissues have been affected by long-standing holding, reduced tone, or limited mobility; these conditions may be experienced as menstrual discomfort, pelvic heaviness, or a sense of downward pressure in the lower abdomen.
In some cases, by supporting tone and continuity within the pelvic tissues, the practice may also be relevant in situations related to a tilted or descended uterus, which can be associated with concerns such as incontinence, particularly later in life. Through specific manipulation of the lower abdomen, the work may support a gradual realignment of the reproductive organs and improved tone in the surrounding structures.
Effects are not standardized or guaranteed and vary depending on the individual and the timing of the work.
The Practice
The practice focuses on the lower abdomen, pelvic floor, and related connective tissues.
It aims to support circulation, sensitivity, and vitality in an area often marked by holding, numbness, or disconnection.
It is not corrective or stimulative in nature, instead, the practice supports the release of persistent contraction and encourages the return of elasticity, space, and functional connection between tissue layers.
Each session adapts to how the body responds and unfolds gradually.
How sessions are held
Sessions are conducted with clear communication and ongoing consent; touch is applied externally and with care, and the work proceeds only within limits that feel right for you.
The pace is gradual and attentive: adapted to how the body responds rather than following a fixed sequence.
Sessions are held in silence once the work begins; if something becomes genuinely uncomfortable, you can say so and the work will adjust. The orientation throughout is therapeutic and functional, not exploratory.
Considerations
Karsai Nei Tsang is intended for people experiencing functional issues in the pelvic or genital area who are looking for a focused, responsible approach to working with this region.
It is not a recreational treatment and is not oriented toward sensory exploration; working with this area asks for a clear intention and a readiness to engage with a direct and sometimes intense process.
It may not be appropriate if you are seeking general relaxation, if you have no specific concerns in the pelvic area, or if this kind of work does not feel suitable for you at this time.
This work is not a medical treatment and does not replace gynecological care or clinical assessment.
Karsai Nei Tsang is not a sexual practice and is not intended to address sexual performance.

Your Questions, Answered
-
The session begins with a conversation: to understand what you are carrying, where you feel it in the body, and what feels most relevant at this time; this takes place at the start of the session.
The work focuses on the lower abdomen, pelvic floor, and related connective tissues. Touch is applied externally, carefully, and in dialogue with your breath and the body's response, the pace is gradual.
You may feel physical intensity or internal sensation as the tissue responds, this is a normal part of how the work moves.
Sessions are held in silence, there is no guidance or instruction during the work. If something becomes genuinely uncomfortable, say so and the work will adjust; questions belong before and after.
-
Before booking, a pre-session dialogue is required: a brief conversation to clarify the work, address any questions, and assess whether this approach is appropriate at this time; this needs to take place at least one week before the session.
Please get in touch to arrange a time for this dialogue; once it has taken place, you will receive the preparation guidelines and can book your session. -
After a Karsai Nei Tsang session, many people feel a quality of spaciousness or lightness in the lower body: a sense of release in an area that had been contracted or held; some feel tired, some feel emotional, both are normal responses to work at this depth.
The body often continues integrating in the days that follow: changes in sensation, circulation, or menstrual experience may emerge gradually rather than immediately, this is the work continuing, not a side effect. Keeping the day of the session relatively quiet supports the process.
Specific dietary and movement recommendations for the days following a session are included in the preparation guidelines.

You will always be informed of what to expect before you arrive, and the work is conducted with appropriate draping throughout.
-
This work is not a medical treatment and does not replace gynaecological care or clinical assessment.
Certain conditions require a conversation before booking, including pregnancy, IUD, active cancer treatment, recent pelvic surgery, or hernia; the pre-session dialogue is the right moment to raise anything relevant.

This work may be relevant if you carry something specific in the pelvic area: menstrual irregularity or discomfort, a sense of heaviness or congestion in the lower abdomen, reduced vitality or sensation, or pelvic tension that doesn't seem to resolve on its own.
It tends to suit those who are ready to work with this area directly and who have a clear sense of what they are looking for.
One or two sessions can produce a significant and lasting shift: the body often continues reorganizing in the weeks that follow, as circulation and tone gradually restore.
You return not on a fixed schedule but when something has accumulated again and feels ready to be addressed.
This is not a general treatment or a relaxation practice, iIt asks for a specific intention and a willingness to work with a sensitive area in a direct, contained, and therapeutic way.
"My periods became regular, my libido came back, and I had more energy than I ever had before."
